The digital version of The Ace's new album, Riot Of Sound, is now available at Ice Cream Man Records bandcamp site. It is pay what you want, so get downloading! A massive thank you to Wayne Lundqvist Ford for helping out The Ace, with the digital release of the album, we're off and running! Hopefully we'll have the CD version of the album available soon. Wayne lives in Sweden, so the release is in Swedish coin, so some conversion maybe necessary, if you're gonna donate for the album!

The Ace's New CD Single, Egil's Head-Ransom / I'm Leavin' You is available now to buy. It will cost £2 at a gig, or through paypal for £3 for UK. Email us for the details. 

Alas, for International sales, the cost will have to be £6, due to the cost of postage, which is a bit ridiculous for a CD single. We're hoping to have bandcamp site up soon, so the single will be available digitally for £2, which should help out our international friends.

Live Review Of The Ace @ The Cavern Club, Liverpool, IPO May 2014

Here's a review of The Ace's recent live performance at The Cavern Club in Liverpool, for IPO 2014. The review is featured on the great gig blog, Minty And The Beeb Go Gigging.

Across to the Club for the first time this year and in time to see a band we really like from Yorkshire on the Front Stage. The Ace are regulars at the IPO and we have also seen them play in Camden’s Dublin Castle. With an authentic garage/mod beat they really sound great and put the Power into Powerpop, drawing on The Dave Clark Five / The Knack beat. They really fired through their set, including old favourites such as “Yeah Yeah” and introducing new songs from an EP just out, with “Egil’s Head-Ransom” and “I’m Leaving You”. The drummer Daz, generates so much energy with his mad drumming, he could power a small town on his own! A fantastic set and thoroughly recommended.  Check them out on facebook

The Ace's New CD Single, Egil's Head-Ransom / I'm Leavin' You will be available in May. The Ace will be playing this years IPO, at The Cavern in Liverpool, on Tuesday 13th May. Our new single will be available at the gig, then by mail order afterwards.

The Ace Live MOTM Huddersfield Irish Centre Sunday 23rd March 2014 Onstage 3.30pm

The Ace will be playing the March Of The Mods event for the Teenage Cancer Trust this forthcoming Sunday, 23rd March 2014. The event takes place at Huddersfield Irish Centre and should be a great shindig. We're onstage in the afternoon at 3.30pm. The event is £10, with 15 bands and loads of DJs in attendance. Proceedings start at 12 noon until after midnight. First band is onstage at 12.30pm, gonna be a blast! All proceeds go to The Teenage Cancer Trust.
